Smart, charismatic and funny, TaKiyah has always been a bit of a class clown! Being the daughter of a former dancer, TaKiyah grew up around a family of characters who loved the “spotlight”. It’s no wonder that the acting bug soon hit her as she began acting in school and church plays.
After high school TaKiyah took the academic route and went on to the University of North Texas earning a Bachelors Degree, and then later a Master’s Degree from Texas Christian University. Now that the “book worm part” of her life is done, she’s moving on to the “fun” and “for the love of it” part. She’s back to her roots in front of the camera and loving every
minute of it!
TaKiyah is excited to be working with D210.tv as one of its new host and can’t wait to see what this new venture holds! When she’s not in front of the camera, TaKiyah can be found volunteering through numerous local agencies, and teaching Drama
classes at a local elementary school.
